Already renowned globally as a premium supplier of high-quality fixtures and accessories for the bathroom and kitchen, leading manufacturer Dornbracht recently launched a stunning new range of stainless steel kitchen sinks at ISH Frankfurt to complement their existing range of kitchen taps. The sinks comprise various single and double units and have been developed in close co-operation with a Canadian premium manufacturer.
No longer is the kitchen simply a food preparation and cleaning area and for kitchens where space is limited, the new unit incorporates a universal area with multifunctional deep water sink alongside a shallower water unit for total flexibility.
Dornbracht believes that the kitchen has various "water zones" and for each of these water zones different configurations are recommended which meet the wish for functionality paired with individuality in the kitchen.
For the preparation area, a deep and a shallow sink can be selected so that food can be optimally cleaned. Large shallow individual units are provided for cooking, so pots can be filled comfortably or water easily drained for pasta, for example. The cleaning area is offered with two large sinks, shallow individual sinks are recommended for drinking and for cooking in a limited space, "Universal" combines all the advantages of the sink in a space-saving variant. An ingenious new bar tap complete with its own sink is deliberately small and less reminiscent of a sink and much more of an elegant water dispenser seen in some of the worlds best hotels or spas.
"With the new sinks in combination with our taps for the kitchen, we can offer a package where the individual components are perfectly aligned with each other", explains the CEO Andreas Dornbracht. "And at the highest level. Both sinks and taps meet the highest demands in terms of quality, design and functionality."
Each sink is handmade from stainless steel, with each specific design adapted to the requirements of the various functional areas in the kitchen.
The twenty individual and eight double sinks, designed as base and inset sinks for fitting flush with adjacent areas, completely open up the functional area of the kitchen in a totally new way, thanks to their understated yet simple elegance.
A Further product innovation is the "Tara" ultra pot filler for the cooking water zone. Its slim design belies the fact that it takes away all the hassle of taking heavy pans from the sink to the cooker . The particularly high outlet provides lots of space for working with large pots and other containers and comes complete with an integral sink.
