The KBSA was situated in the Kitchens and Bathrooms Spotlight Area at Homebuilding & Renovating Show held at the NEC on 19-22 March. The Association then attended Grand Designs Live at London's Excel from 25 April - 4 May, and was situated in the Expert Advice Centre.

Throughout both shows the KBSA had the opportunity to promote the KBSA as well as answer any consumer questions and offer advice on updating the home.

Ruth Ward, KBSA's sales and marketing director comments: "Attending these major consumer exhibitions allows us to promote the Association to a targeted audience that are serious about investing in a new home or updating their existing house.

"We have found that it gives us a valuable forum to explain the benefits of dealing with a reputable retailer and those that offer KBSA membership, to ensure their money is protected and to guarantee that they receive a high standard of work in their homes.

We are dedicated to supporting our members in any way possible and by attending these consumer exhibitions we are showing our members that we will promote them to consumers at every given opportunity.

The KBSA also carried out a consumer survey throughout Grand Designs Live, which asked visitors their views and opinions on how they spend money in their home, what they choose to buy and how they find a reputable retailer.
