Impulse Bathrooms supply charity and help the environment
Published:  08 June, 2009

Whitwell Hall Country Centre is an independent charity set up to educate less fortunate youngsters about the countryside and the environment and to help their development into socially responsible people

The charity has recently built a new shower and toilet block and installed toilets from Impulse Bathrooms specifically for their ‘green' credentials. The 10 Tribune WC's are environment friendly because they operate on a water saving 4.5/3 litre dual flush. They can reduce the amount of public potable water used by well over 50% and have been developed to ensure that the flush not only cleans the WC pan but also clears soil to the drains. This means having sufficient initial flush volumes and velocity coupled with 2.5 litres of trailing water as required by the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations of 1999 and British Standards.

In addition the Tribune system has been designed to use ‘grey' water - an additional reason why Whitwell Hall Country Centre chose the Tribune WC's as the charity harvests rainwater for use in non-potable situations.

To complete the facilities, Impulse Bathrooms also supplied a number of washbasins and pedestals.
