When you sell a bathroom or kitchen you haven't completed the job until you have sold the tiles. Tiles can add significantly to the overall value of the sale and if you include all possible ancillary items, which the customer will have to buy from somewhere, you could increase the tile element of the sale by as much as 50%.

Your TTA member tile supplier will be pleased to advise on what is needed but you should look at including the following:

For Kitchens - Floor Tiles, Wall tiles, Worktop tiles, Floor/wall primer, Undertile heating, Adhesive, Grout, Tile trim for external and internal corners, Separating membrane, Cleaners and Sealants for natural tiles

For Bathrooms - Floor Tiles, Wall tiles, Floor/wall primer, Floor/wall waterproofing or backer board, Special adhesive for fixing to wooden floors, Undertile heating, Adhesive, Grout, Tile trim for external and internal corners, Flexible tile trim for joint between bath/shower screen and wall, Ceramic soap dishes and hooks, Separating membrane, Cleaners and Sealants for natural tiles.

While you are talking to your tile supplier discuss updating your displays with the very latest products. A good tile distributor, TTA member, will be able to help with choosing the very latest designs and will advise on displays, samples, supplies and give sound technical advice. They will also be able to recommend a TTA member tile fixer to finish the job. A tile fixer isn't a kitchen fitter or a plumber and your plumber and joiner aren't tile fixers.
