Pushing the design boundaries without blowing the budget, Franke has replaced its Vita VIX range of sinks with the new Ascona. The Ascona has also been treated to a contemporary Satin Silk finish, which has a stylish muted lustre that's fingerprint friendly and incredibly tactile.
The new Ascona collection is part of Franke's Pro-Value Range consisting of two options - the Ascona ASX 611 single bowl model and the Ascona ASX 651 one-and-a-half bowl model. Both share a stylish new profile, epitomised by a linear-designed drainer that carefully controls water to ensure no spillages onto the worktop. A recessed drainer ensures any water around the perimeter of the sink drains into the bowl, not over the edges.
The Ascona incorporates patented Franke Slimfix System fixing clips which automatically grip the worktop saving the time-consuming job of attaching clips or tightening screws beneath the sink.
Included in the price is the Franke Zurich Chrome monobloc mixer or clients can choose to upgrade to a different tap from the Franke comprehensive tap portfolio. There's also the option for retailers to boost a sale offering customers accessory packs which include strainer bowls, drainer baskets and chopping boards.
