The PJH Group kick-started the launch of its fundraising activities for chosen charity of the year, Macmillan Cancer Support, by participating in Britain’s biggest and most prestigious 10K, the Bupa Great Manchester Run on Sunday, May 20th 2007.
Aiming to raise a staggering £25,000 over the course of this year from a variety of fundraising events, the challenging 10k run set a huge standard – generating over £10,000 of sponsorship. From the chief executive, to sales staff, product managers and warehouse operatives, the PJH team bravely took to the streets of Manchester and raced for the finishing line.
A team of over 20 people from PJH Group took part in the run, determined to cross the finishing line and contribute to the rising level of sponsorship funds for Macmillan. The company has a whole host of further fundraising events planned over the coming months, involving both staff and PJH Group customers.
