Hettich moves into Europe’s design heartland
Published:  01 July, 2007

Hettich UK’s London Design Centre is the first of its kind in the EC1 district of London. The showroom at 79 Clerkenwell Road features working displays, a significant LED lighting section, and a flexible seminar and meeting area.

EC1 is “a natural home for Hettich” said Hettich UK Director of Sales Philip Tipson. “We are the leading innovators in quality fittings. Our presence in will allow domestic and contract furniture designers easy access to a resource for examining trends, new ideas and practical solutions.”

The rationale for the Design Centre is to encourage dialogue with furniture designers and architects at an early stage of a project’s cycle, be it a development, refurbishment or a furniture design for kitchen, bathroom, bedroom or office. The Design Centre will act as a permanent exhibition stand offering a practical and inspiring facility all year-round.

Lighting is an increasingly important aspect of Hettich’s product portfolio, and low energy solutions are consistent with the company’s environmental stance. The Design Centre features a comprehensive range of Hettich’s lighting for furniture and architectural applications.
