The Marriott Hotel chain has specified the high performance solid surface material LG HI-MACS® for the bathroom vanity units in 30 of the prestige bedrooms in their flagship Scotland hotel.
The fabricator for the contract was M&L Solid Surfaces who worked with the material in Terra Quartz to install formed, seamless vanity worktops with plant-on upstands. A special feature is the inset tissue dispenser which fits perfectly and continues the seamless effect of the vanity unit.
LG HI-MACS® is an ideal surface to operate in commercial and high traffic conditions like hotels, eating establishments and healthcare environments. It is a stain and moisture resistant surface that will give years of service. The material is a natural acrylic stone made from a blend of 75 per cent natural minerals and pigments set in an acrylic matrix. It is extremely hard wearing and non-porous. Easy to machine and form, it lends itself to a limitless spectrum of design demands.
