Bellissimo has added 11 new matt colours to its range of doors for kitchens and bedrooms, in response to a strong move in the market towards matt finishes.
These new arrivals bring Bellissimo's range of matt options to 25, comprising 12 solid colours and 13 woodgrains. All are available in bespoke sizes and seven curve configurations. The new options are yellow, orange, red, dark walnut, light walnut, brown leather, plum woodgrain, oak, zebrano, olive and embossed wenge. If you add its 26 gloss finishes, Bellissimo now has an industry-leading choice of 51 doors and matching drawer fronts to choose from.
Bellissimo managing director, Warnock Watson, said: "Matt is increasingly the choice of developers and individuals for the contrast it offers with the many reflective elements in the kitchen, such as highly polished work surfaces and shiny appliances. It also works very well in combination with gloss doors.
"Another factor is the decline of the buy-to-let and buy-to-sell markets, which means customers want something they can live with rather than just something with ‘wow factor' to sell. This favours muted matt colours rather than high gloss black and white. Gloss remains a strong and developing trend in the market in general, but matt is now the up and coming look.
"The key is choice. Customers expect more than an off-the-shelf package today, and by offering such a wide range of colours in bespoke sizes, and with seven curve formats, a retailer offering Bellissimo really can fit the kitchen to the customer rather than the other way around."
