In the current economic climate, customers expect a lot more for their money and from their project designer

In this current economic climate where everyone is trying to adjust the prices and margins are tighter your cad software will not only have to make good presentations to close sales but also produce accurate plans to minimise expensive mistakes.

KBB design software is moving fast and although some years ago just a floor plan in black and white was good enough to show to a customer, now customers expect to receive a photo presentation of their project. With the speed of the market it will not be long until the customer will expect a movie of their project as standard too. This technology has been used for some time now but it was very expensive and was only used by the film industry and some architecture studies, but since autocad 2008 included some of the 3D studio max technology this means that designers using the latest autocad engine or autokitchen can make movie presentations as standard which makes their presentation far more valuable than any others with just photos and plans.

The key factor is that KBB design software needs to be compatible, flexible and customisable. Compatible to be able to open standard cad files such as architect plans and to generate compatible files to export the project information to other program for manufacturing or quoting. Flexible in order to be able to modify the components of the cabinet and not just the dimensions of the box. Customisable so the program can learn from the user to make the designing process quicker.

Microcad Software is proud to use the worlds leading cad technology, this has always enabled us to put our products to the forefront of KBB Design.
