tc bathrooms has defied the economic downturn by reporting increased sales in 2008. This was achieved whilst also moving into their new, purpose-built, state of the art, 200,000 square foot premises in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
The relocation to the new headquarters and distribution centre marks a significant expansion in tc bathrooms' business after outgrowing its site at Grange Moor, Wakefield in only 3 years.
Martin Chalcraft, Managing Director of tc bathrooms, said: "In a market beset by economic doom and gloom, we have again defied the trends and invested for the future benefit of our company and the growing brand.
The new facility is an 11.2m project for us, funded from a profit reinvestment and a balance of high street lending from HSBC our primary bankers. In these current economic times with funding hardly growing on trees, this really goes to underline our balance sheet strength."
Unlike the majority of manufacturers who, at present are reducing their commitment to new products, tc bathrooms will be launching new ranges in almost all areas of its product portfolio in 2009.
