Metris®, PWS' new premium, contemporary kitchen brand has achieved registered design status on 4 key curved elements within the collection. The culmination of 2 years' product research and development, the beauty of the 1200mm corner system is that unlike other curved units on the market, this one size creates three distinctive schemes. It's because of this originality and distinguishing feature that registered design status has been awarded.
The curved corner system creates the wave island, the fitted curve and the peninsular curve, its distinctive shape forming effortless style and motion. To further differentiate from other suppliers a teardrop table has been developed, continuing the ergonomic fluidity of the design.
Over the years PWS has built a reputation for designing and supplying creatively-led kitchen components and takes the protection of its designs very seriously, defending them on several occasions when Mark Wilkinson acted as an expert witness in the successful defence of the PWS Croft Oak design. A number of doors and feature products in the PWS portfolio carry UK and EU wide design rights across both classic and contemporary styling.
