Craven Dunnill, the major ceramic tile distributor and retailer, has appointed Steve Whitehurst as Sales Director. He joined the company in 2007 as Marketing Director and has since focussed his efforts on delivering market-driven promotional tools including a new website, retailer catalogue, commercial prospectus, and targeted PR and advertising activity. As Sales and Marketing Director Whitehurst will work closely with Craven Dunnill's Managing Director Peter Howells, who previously directed the Sales function.
Peter Howells, Managing Director at Craven Dunnill, sees the appointment as a natural progression for the business: "We have always highly valued our customers and endeavour to deliver exceptional service to help them succeed. In this new role Steve will have the scope to ensure we remain customer focussed and address market conditions, especially important in this tough economic environment, and will be able to identify new business opportunities for the group".
