Leading bathroom, kitchen and heating distributor BCG is re-launching its price books and quarterly promotional document - The Plug - in line with feedback from their customers and to incorporate a new corporate image. The new combined price book, now called The List, takes immediate effect, with suggested list prices for bathroom, kitchen and heating products now all available in the same book. A new marketing strapline and campaign has been developed to encourage customers to ‘Insist on the List'.
The format of the kitchen information and pricing will remain the same, however for the bathroom and heating sections of the pricebooks, product the information has been re-paginated to allow customers to purchase by brand. This change is in direct response to many bathroom and kitchen retailers and merchants requesting this format, and shows BCG's willingness to adapt its service and marketing in line with customer requirements
The new look Plug is also moving over to a single edition featuring all of the information and offers that would have previously been included in the Kitchen Plug, Bathroom Plug, and Merchant Plug. The new price books and Plugs have been mailed to customers. Extra copies are available from the customer contact centre on 0870 60 60 601.
Julie Butcher, marketing manager for BCG, said: "The new version of The Plug went down a storm at our recent Big Tour, with the vast majority of customers telling us they valued that format and would prefer to see The Plug produced in the same way in the future. Similarly, customers told us they wanted to see our price book information condensed into one ‘Book', and they would like to see the option of ordering by brand name more easily."
