Pfleiderer Industrie's new UK range of Duropal worktops includes high pressure laminate back panels and upstands. Back panels are cut from HPL-Solid. HPL solid comprises many high grade paper layers impregnated with melamine resins and laminated at high pressure to form an extremely durable and stable sheet. It is impervious to moisture. The top paper is decorative and comes in 18 decors to match selected Duropal worktops. In addition there is a real brushed steel back panel bonded to particle board for a contemporary look.
Duropal HPL-Solid back panels are an easy fit, easy clean alternative to tiles. The core colour is black and as it is solid, may be cut without the need to edge band. Sizes are 4100mm x 650mm and 2050mm x 1300mm. The thickness is a nominal 6mm.
Duropal HPL upstands are available in 42 decors matching Duropal worktops. The HPL is bonded to a moisture resistant chipboard and 3mm post formed on the top edge giving a neat finish to the wall. Upstands are 4100mm x 120mm and 19mm thick.
