When it came to selecting a contemporary kitchen design to juxtapose the distinctive Queen Anne style architecture of his 1870's home, furniture designer Rod Ward knew he had a tough criteria to meet.
Rod, a leading furniture designer with over 30 years industry experience, sought a kitchen design which not only added to the traditional, historic feel of his home but exuded modern appeal.
Rod selected Burbidge's everpopular Lansdowne Ivory Painted Oak kitchen which combines the beauty of wood with the stark contemporary colour, for a look which is both natural and subtly modern - customised with deep duck egg blue glass panels, adding lightness and the feel of an exclusive designer kitchen.
Rod comments: "For me, the Lansdowne range stands out as a superb example of the ‘modern classic' look. Given the breadth of widths available and option for bespoke sizes, a vital part of our design requirement, it was a perfect match. We are really pleased with the end result and have achieved our dream kitchen -all at an affordable price."
