Victoria & Albert - totally coordinated in 2009
Published:  17 March, 2009

ISH 2009 is marking a new era for specialist bath manufacturer Victoria & Albert who are using their stand A79 in Hall 3.0 to launch a stunning collection of co-ordinating basins and a brand new  bath.  All of the new products are made from 100 percent QUARRYCAST®, the unique and exclusive naturally white material that is rich in natural volcanic limestone, warm to the touch and abrasion resistant.  Helping dealers sell this new coordinated model line up, Victoria & Albert is also launching a new 52-page brochure at ISH featuring new photography in inspirational room settings.

Reflecting the sleek, organic shape of the Napoli bath, the new Napoli 57 rimless basin shares the bath's low profile good looks. A pair of basins on a countertop make a stunning impact in a large bathroom. A single Napoli 57 on a contemporary wash stand is highly effective where space is limited. The Napoli 57 measures 570 x 345 x 160mm.

The ios 80 vessel basin matches the super-compact ios freestanding bath.  Generously proportioned as a pure oval, the sleek ios 80 is an elegant low profile design that stands just 117mm high. At 800mm long it makes a real impact on a countertop or console.

The new Amalfi 55 basin has the same shapely design lines as the original Amalfi bath. Measuring 550 x 340 x 172mm, the minimalist Amalfi 55 is designed for use on its own or as a his-and-hers pair with surface or wall mounted fillers.

A brand new freestanding bath and basin combination will  make its debut at ISH. Named after one of the most beautiful towns on the Italian Riviera, the Ravello bath is double ended and 1743mm long. It is complemented by the Ravello 60, a rectangular vessel basin measuring 600mm x 400mm.  Ravello and Ravello 60 combine classical elegance with contemporary sophistication. The mix of curves and straight lines reflects the latest trend in interior design - and shows the versatility of QUARRYCAST®, allowing large and complex shapes to be cast in one flowing, seamless piece.

Also new for 2009 are comfortable removable head rests for the Amalfi and Napoli baths. "We believe that these new additions will give or Premium retailers the opportunity to build sales and increase margin," commented Marketing Manager Jonathan Carter. "We also believe that the new products will be of great interest to architects and developers looking for co-ordinated luxury style."
