Compact cooking appliances for creative kitchen planning

Spring 2007 saw the introduction of “compact45”, a compact “family” of built-in cooking appliances from leading manufacturer Siemens.

Easy to install and versatile for all purposes, the new “compact45” collection includes several brand new compact appliances, namely a steam oven, combination steam oven and pyroKlean multi-function oven, in addition to some existing models, such as warming drawers and a built-in coffee centre.

All these new products are 45cm high and finished in stainless steel. This allows a series of cooking appliances to be built in together, either side-by-side or in-column, for the ultimate in flexible kitchen design coordination.

New additions to Siemens’ new “compact45” range include:

Steam oven model HB26D550B – 26-litre capacity, steam only, electronic touch control, five temperature options, LED clock and temperature display, child lock. This appliance does not need to be plumbed-in.

Combination steam oven model HB36D570B – large 32-litre capacity, no need for plumbing-in gives advantage over competitors’ models.

PyroKlean “compact45” oven model HB36P570B – large 42-litre capacity with electronic controls, self cleaning.
