WaterShield TM is the newest addition to the ever-expanding range of tile adhesives, grouts and sealants from ULTRA TILE.
WaterShield TM is a flexible waterproofing membrane designed for use beneath ceramic, porcelain, natural stone tiles and mosaics in wet rooms and showers. Suitable for internal applications subject to intermittent and frequent wetting, this new quality addition is another success for the Instarmac Group's renowned ULTRA TILE brand.
Living up to the slogan of ‘Simplifying the Complicated' WaterShield TM is an easy-to-use kit supplied all in one tub. The system consists of a brush-applied liquid, a bond primer and a waterproof polyester tape. The tape reinforces the membrane in areas of additional stress (such as internal and external corners, junctions between floors and walls, around floor drains and channels, changes in plane, on suspended and timber floors, and in heavily trafficked areas).
WaterShield TM can also be applied to most common substrates including moisture sensitive backgrounds such as plaster, plasterboard, timber and tile backing boards.
