The configuration software, which is available free to all REHAU customers, gives users complete freedom to design their own roller shutter cabinet on line using REHAU's full range of sizes, colours and profiles.

REHAU has developed the software so that users can choose their specification from a drop down menu and see that configuration displayed instantly on screen. They can try out different colour combinations or opening options and let their creativity run free.

The key advantage of the software is that it guides the user through the design process and manages the options so that users can only select from compatible components and specifications.

Other features include an option to store favourite designs for future use and a forthcoming new pricing tool enabling customers to get instant quotes for their chosen design options.

Once a tambour design is finalised, the software then automatically generates what is effectively a ‘shopping list' of all the components and fixings required along with article numbers ready for an order can be placed.

REHAU customers can access the password protected software via the customer ordering portal located at www.rehau.co.uk.
