Gallery brings Touch Concept into the kitchen
Published:  04 February, 2009

A sleek, handle-free kitchen look is now possible through the new Touch Concept design from Gallery. Literally at a touch, the electronically operated pan drawers glide silently open and close equally softly using the latest soft-close technology, whilst cupboard doors need nothing more than a slight push on the touch catch mechanism to open, and can be fitted with optional discreet finger plates to protect the doors from marks.

The Gallery has in its offer a selection of stylish, statement handles, but there is a growing trend for the elegant, clean lines that Touch can offer - a linear look that is especially relevant on slab and high gloss finishes which are very much in vogue.

The Touch concept lends itself perfectly to our Boston range' comments Andy Lowe, Retail Marketing Manager, ‘Consumers are looking to replicate the very clean, minimalist European look they see from the more niche Italian and German manufacturers. Full height doors and deep pan drawers play an important part in achieving the look, which is where we've focused our attention.

Gallery continues to add to its portfolio of accessories that add the magical ‘finishing touch'. Adding brilliance to the kitchen are a selection of coloured downlighters, LED strings and low energy pelmet lights . The entire working area can be bathed in light or, when a more subdued, dramatic effect is required - maybe for dining - discreet mood lighting can create subtle pools of light and shadow.
