Croydex assistive solutions
Published:  04 February, 2009

One of the problems less-abled and elderly people can face in a standard bathroom is manoeuvring themselves in and out of the bath or shower. Croydex offers a variety of assistive products such as grab rails and in-bath seating to ease the issue.

The company's range offers a selection of grab rails to assist users, including a stylish 90° angled chrome-effect model, which gives vertical as well as horizontal support. Other options include 30-cm grab bars which are ideal for areas where space is restricted. For larger spaces Croydex offers a 40cm grab bar.

Croydex's selection specialist seating includes a shower stool with slip-resistant feet, curved handles which can help steady the user, and a stylish chrome-finish frame. For a more permanent fitting, try the wall-mounted fold-away shower seat.

Baths are much more comfortable and easily accessed with the aid of an in-bath seat. We offer models with or without a supportive back rest. Chrome-effect slip-resistant arms make it safer for the user to position themselves comfortably.
