Jobsite Companion, from Cabinet Vision, is an ingenious software tool that operates on a PDA device and enables the cabinet or casework maker to collect and store on-site data quickly, accurately and easily.
Running on a hand-held personal digital assistant (PDA) Jobsite Companion enables the user to input room and furniture dimensions, take notes, mark service locations such as electric power points and light switches, as well as attaching digital photographs for enhanced detail. This information can be downloaded directly into Cabinet Vision design and CNC manufacturing programs.
This easy-to-use software tool speeds up the design to manufacture process, allowing information to be gathered at source using a single point of entry for data and eliminating costly translations errors. With the accurate site data downloaded into Cabinet Vision, detailed designs and photo-realistic renders can be produced to show how the finished room will look for customer approval prior to manufacture.
