Hitting the heights - the new Faro and Kos from Purmo
Published:  13 January, 2009

Purmo has made both its distinctive high output vertical and horizontal Faro radiators available in the UK.

Dubbed "the radiator that's not afraid to stand tall" across Europe, its profiled front emphasises clean ascendant lines, while the curved side covers give it a pure, exquisite appearance from every angle. The design not only creates a sense of height - it also allows you to install a powerful heat source where wall space is restricted. For more conventional settings the horizontally mounted versions are an ideal choice. They share the same profiled front and perforated side covers, while delivering a high heat output like their vertical sibling. Prices start at around £180.

Also recently introduced to the UK market is the new vertical Kos V radiator. Coupling a minimalist appearance with high heat outputs, the Kos V achieves a perfect balance between its flat front panel and closed, curved side covers.

Shrinking to widths of 300mm and stretching to heights of 2100mm, the Kos V fits into awkward alcoves or on narrow pillars, and is available in a range of RAL colours, as well as fashionable industrial stainless steel, a practical material known for its quality, durability, low maintenance and resistance to corrosion. It can also be supplied with an additional rail, which enables it to transform into a towel warmer. Prices start at around £332.89.
