Judging by the sales of Britannia cooker hoods, the market seems buoyant with many consumers choosing a new hood to complement their range cooker.
One hood currently proving particularly popular is the K7088, a versatile chimney style hood that scores as highly in the looks department as it does in the performance stakes.
Available in a variety of widths from 70cm through to 120cm, it can be purchased in a range of classic colours and finishes including stainless steel and gloss black, plus through Colourange, Britannia's unique colour-matching service, in any shade the customer specifies.
Its most unique feature, however, is possibly its Intelligent ASC system, which sees a sensor detect steam, vapours, smoke and odours and switch the hood on and off as required.
The K7088 has a maximum air capacity of 750 cubic metres per hour, with noise levels at a low 40 - 59 dbA and input (watts) at 125 - 250, dependent on speed.
Prices start at £689 for the 90cm model.
