Purus, the leading Swedish manufacturer of drainage and plumbing products, has launched into the UK market meeting the expanding demand for wet rooms and walk in showers. The products is available nationwide through leading plumbing and heating suppliers.
Purus wet room drains are available in a variety of horizontal and square formats and the company is unique in offering a tiled drainage trap which provides an uninterrupted tile design across the wet room floor. The surface strainer comes in six different horizontal lengths, from 300mm to 1000mm, and eight different stylish designs. In addition a square strainer is available in sizes from 155mm to 200mm. The Purusline can remove up to 1.2 litres of water per second.
The drains are designed to be shallow, making them ideal for restricted areas and can be fitted in concrete floors and under suspended wood floors - ideal for upper floors. Purus drains also contain an odour trap as standard.
Height adjustable they offer greater flexibility for a range of tiles. Designed to be fitted in conjunction with a waterproof membrane they can also be used for vinyl flooring.
