A new range of shower trays and tanking system has been launched by Varme for use with walk-in shower enclosures and wet rooms providing a tileable shower base avoiding the need for conventional ‘step-in' acrylic bases.
What's more, installers can source the entire system of tray and accessories from one supplier. Varme provides everything the builder or floorlayer will need including tray, drain, support, tanking, fixings, flexible adhesive, tape, sealant, etc.
Walk-in showers are becoming increasingly popular and the benefit of having a large shower area which is more comfortable, easier to access and simpler to clean, has led to a surge in the installation of so called ‘wet rooms' .
The Varme system has a lightweight flush floor panel with pre-made falls to drain. Featuring a lightweight drain support the system is easy and quick to install. Once the installation is complete, the panel and walls are coated with a flexible cementitious layer ready to receive a tiled surface.
