Wet Rooms from Golden Coast steam ahead
Published:  02 December, 2008

The trend towards creating ‘wet rooms' in place of the conventional British bathroom provides a real opportunity to add value to a property and bring the benefits of ‘Wellness' into the home.

For those without the space or the ability to turn over an entire bathroom to create a ‘wet room', there is a simple alternative - the ‘Slimline' low profile minimalistic shower tray.

At 40mm or 45mm in height, a ‘Slimline' tray can be installed almost flush to the finished floor surface. Available in a square, oblong and left or right-hand quadrant design, including an offset quadrant in 17 sizes from 800 mm x 800 mm to 1200 x 900, many incorporating an easy-plumb option.

"Slimline offers significant improvements over conventional trays enabling home owners to create a near wet room, without the need to provide the complete seals associated with such facilities.

Complementing the shower ‘Slimline' trays is the distinctive and elegant straight rose ‘Sweep Swivel' and ingenious circular looped rose ‘Sweep Loop' shower columns or, alternatively, the ‘Stream', with its round or square shower head. Each can either be floor or wall mounted with the option of being independently installed directly into a wall.
