Britannia turns up the heat
Published:  03 November, 2008

Just in time to hit peak selling period, early September saw range cooker specialist Britannia launch its very first models with induction cooking.

The cutting edge technology will be available on both twin and XG versions of the Sigma, Dynasty and Classic 100cm models, which will each provide larger cooking zones than any other induction range cookers currently on the market.

These new cookers will offer all the advantages of induction cooking in terms of heightened efficiency and a more controllable heat with six induction zones and nine power levels, plus features such as boost function, auto heat-up, residual heat indication and a child locking facility.

To lend further support to retailers, Britannia will be offering a free four piece Le Creuset set for every customer who buys one of the new induction cookers before 31 December 2008.  The set has a retail value of £225.

The 100cm twin models with induction will retail at £4,349, while the XG versions with separate grill compartment will cost £4,789.
