FURNITURE component manufacturer Hills Panel Products (HPP) is expanding in the North East with the appointment of Steve Taggart as its first sales representative in the region.
Steve joins HPP from Germanowned furniture tooling manufacturer Leitz where he was a sales representative for the UK's North East region. Steve has worked in the furniture industry for 24 years in both manufacturing and sales.
HPP manufactures and supplies boards, doors and fittings to the furniture industry across the UK and Steve has been tasked with establishing further customer relationships in the region for the company.
Steve, 42, who lives in the North East, said: "We've had a good reception from businesses in the area and following some recent follow up visits have received positive feedback on our level of customer service, pricing, flexibility around sourcing products, delivery and product quality."
Stephen Hill, managing director of HPP, adds: "We've always had good feedback from businesses in the North East but have always felt there was more work we could do in raising awareness of HPP in the region and cultivating further sales relationships."
