Ideal Standard's chill-out zone
Published:  10 October, 2008

As wellness equipment becomes increasingly ingrained in homes across Europe, Ideal Standard is developing its expertise to bring customers innovative products that combine beautiful design with functionality. These new products build on its range of hydro-massage showers, whirlpools and unique items such as the TRIS.

Haven of Relaxation

As a sophisticated concept in wellness at home it meets a variety of relaxation needs including spacious normal and tropical showering, steam, drying sauna, aromatherapy and hydro massage.

Not only does TRIS offer versatility and stylish design, but functionality as well as it comes complete with a removable bed/seating area, together with an elegant and reliable touch pad in a comfortable and stylish environment. Available as a marine wood unit in a standard size of 170cm x 110cm.

Colour experiences with WWW whirlpool

Ideal Standard's range of WWW luxury hydro-massage baths are eye catching and elegant. WWW offers chromotherapy - with lamps in the bath emitting colour and light to balance physical, emotional, spiritual and mental energy. The easy-to-use, easy-clean touch pad also controls hydro and dry massage functions. In addition to its original rectangular shaped bathtub, WWW is also available in a corner 140x140cm version.

Stay warmer in Ideal Standard's Soft Bath

Soft Bath provides a glimpse into bathtubs of the future. Designed by award winning designer Marc Sadler, Soft Bath is made from a special compound material primarily used today in motorbike seats. The result is a substance that is even more resilient than acrylic yet much softer to the touch, shinier and more flexible offering the potential to create many different shapes. Additionally, it has the benefit of maintaining water temperature. Initial testing is indicating that water stays warmer almost twice as long as with a normal bathtub. This also potentially reduces the amount of water and energy used per bath through the topping up with hot water to regain pleasurable temperature levels.
