Led by European furniture designers, whose innovative ideas have brought us bathroom furniture in new and exciting colours and finishes. British manufacturers are providing both modular and space saving ranges which look fantastic and offer the consumer a storage solution for any setting.

Bathrooms, cloakrooms and en-suites remain key purchases for any home and although the bulk of sales are still fitted furniture, this year the demand for space saving or modular furniture is definitely on the increase.

Freestanding or modular furniture offers some real benefits for the designer and fitter. Incorporating wall hung base units and wall units which can be linked together in various configurations, it creates an attractive focal point in a larger area whilst combining style with essential storage in a smaller space. Easy to design and simple to fit, it looks good in any setting.

For small areas such as cloakrooms or new build bathrooms which now average a mere 2m x 2m, manufacturers are providing flexible sizing with units ranging from 200mm to  300mm deep allowing designers to blend style with practical storage solutions.

All this Linked together means designers can now make a real statement in any bathroom.
