Vitra introduce a brassware solution for water conservation
Published:  05 September, 2008

As the issue of water conservation continues to dominate the bathroom industry, international bathroom manufacturer VitrA has introduced a faucet to tackle this timely topic.

The joystick basin mixer forms part of VitrA MOD, Ross Lovegrove's second range for the brand, which has been described as a global solution for water conservation.  The washbasin faucet has been designed with a unique reduced diameter stem to cut down on water use.

Ross comments: "VitrA MOD is an intelligent modular system with subtle references to the economic everyday use of water. This series is totally versatile and adaptable to most architectural situations, plus compact enough to be a globally practical solution for most cultures."

VitrA is synonymous for combining practical products with up-to-the-minute design, and the MOD joystick basin mixer is no different.  Its clean, natural lines and shaping belong unmistakeably to Ross Lovegrove, making a statement in any bathroom.

VitrA MOD stretches the boundaries of design and technology, offering a series of sculptured bathroom products.  It is a flexible range that works with a number of different generic materials to complement contemporary industrial architecture and graphic interior design.
