A number of new initiatives announced by the KBSA (Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association) at its recent National Conference, have been launched to retail members that will offer significant savings and opportunities to develop new business streams.
The Association's retailers have been offered an exclusive package of support that will help them exploit the growing market for fitted bedroom furniture and add a new income stream to their business.
The offer comes from corporate members Daval, Hepplewhite, JJ Omerod and William Ball and includes a special display discount of at least 40%, additional discounts over and above normal trading terms, free displays, the option of a fitting service if required, plus a supply of bedroom leads.
Graham Ball, CEO of the KBSA, comments: "Now is the perfect time for retailers to consider developing bedrooms as part of their business. It can be offered to a retailer's existing customers and is generally a simple easy installation, compared to kitchens and bathrooms, that is completed in 24/48 hours. The business support package we have developed is unique, creating a hassle free and low cost opportunity to generate more sales. Essential market knowledge, sample kits for selected ranges, literature and POS support, product, market & designer training with field support from sales teams are all included as part of this exciting offer."
The other new KBSA Membership Benefits Package is from corporate member Swift Electrical which will help members control costs via exclusive display deals on Hoover and LG products, free display deal on Sovereign integrated wine coolers, plus automatic extra discounts on Hotpoint, Lux Air, Smeg and Stoves appliances.
"These are the first of many initiatives that we are working on with our Corporate members that will give our retail members real tangible benefits designed to contribute to the growth and success of their business," concludes Graham.
