Being ceiling-fed they can be installed directly onto solid walls without any disruption to existing tiling. As both hot and cold feeds are fed through the integral vertical riser there's no need to chase out of the wall for pipework, saving the time and hassle involved with re-tiling.

With 150mm centres they are ideal for both new and retro installations and suitable for all domestic plumbing systems. High and mains pressure systems, pumped systems and unequal water supplies are no problem and they even work well in low pressure, gravity-fed situations (minimum 0.1bar). All connections are made in the ceiling void and both the hot and cold water supplies can be fed through 15mm pipework from the storage tank above down inside the integral vertical riser to the shower valve. The riser, which cleverly doubles up as the handset slider rail, is kept cool to touch during showering thanks to Bristan's innovative twinline design that sends the hot water down an inner tube that runs through the middle of an outer tube that carries the cold water. This keeps hot and cold supplies separate until they reach the thermostatic cartridge inside the valve. 

Safety of the user is paramount with accurate and reliable thermostatic control plus an automatic shut-off device should the water supply fail - all built-in as standard.
