This helps fight the growth of micro-orgasnisms and harmful bacteria which may be on the surface, such as EColi, Salmonella, Listeria, Staphlococcus and the MRSA superbug. Functional, beautiful and hygienic, quartz worktops are made from 93% natural quartz crystals and 7% pigments, resin, mirror and glass. Only three other natural minerals; diamond, sapphire and topaz are harder than quartz. Silestone is highly stain and scratch resistant, and can be cut and profiled to provide unlimited design options and is available in over 50 colours.
