One of the U.K.’s most progressive manufacturers and retailers of high quality kitchens has acquired new financial backers, a new chairman, and plans to double the number of showrooms across the country.
As part of the deal, Managing Director, John Curwen; Sales Director Andrew Kretzschmar and Finance Director John Herbert will be joined on the board by Graham Brown who will be chairman of the group.
Harvey Jones already operates from ten showrooms with a turnover of more than £7.5million in 2006. The planned roll out is forecast to double the number of showroom over the next three years.
Alex Sheffield (pictured) the Livingstone director who introduced the opportunity to YFM says: “Our role as advisers to the management, was to negotiate the purchase of the business from the vendors and to run a competitive process among private equity houses who we knew would be interested in backing the team.”
