Accessible technology by Aqualisa
Published:  03 July, 2008

Inclusive bathroom schemes often demand a greater degree of versatility - both in terms of design and functionality - so when selecting fixtures and fittings, it's worth being up to speed on the latest technology.  Not least digital technology, which, having taken the showering sector by storm, is now also making its mark on bathing.

Aqualisa recently launched Quartz Digital Bath and the great news is that this highly accessible technology is just as suitable for inclusive or special needs' schemes as it is for ordinary bathrooms.  Doing away with awkward taps and instead dispensing water through a sleek overflow fill, Quartz Digital Bath offers all the benefits of its sibling product, Quartz Digital Shower.  These include a straightforward, push button start/stop control, an LED display on the control that indicates when the water has reached the user's pre-set temperature and the option of a wireless remote control.

There is also peace of mind for more vulnerable users with a maximum temperature of 45ºC and for complete design flexibility, the control can even be placed away from the bath at a height that is more convenient height for the user.
