Italian appliance manufacture Smeg prides itself on producing some of the most eco friendly and efficient appliances on the market today and the new DF6SPLUS dishwasher is no exception.
Energy saving recommended by the Energy Saving Trust, the 60cm DF6SPLUS has two key features, Aquatest and Save+, that contribute towards the machines ‘AAA' rating. Aquatest is an electronic infrared sensor which measures the clarity of the incoming water. At pre-determined intervals the electronic board checks whether to continue with the pre-wash cycle of to move on to heat the water for the wash programme. Dishwashers with the Aquatest feature are able to keep consumption of water and energy to a minimum, depending on the degree of dirt on the dishes.
Save+ is an option able to obtain a 10% reduction on energy consumption compared to a standard ‘A' class dishwasher by using an alternative drying system and a new, more efficient washing cycle.
Finger friendly stainless steel and a sleek electronic display showing options selected, salt and rinse aid requirements, length of programme and time left to end of cycle ensure the aesthetics perfectly complement the superb performance of the DF6SPLUS.
