The Ecovector range of energy efficient heat emitters from Smith's Environmental Products, the leading supplier of domestic and light commercial fan convectors in the UK, is now officially available.
Aimed at the domestic market, the flat-fronted Ecovector is designed along the lines of a low surface temperature radiator and is operated by an almost silent twin-speed fan. It can be fitted to existing heating systems and can be mixed on the same system with any natural convectors.
The heat exchanger uses a mere 5% of the water required for an equivalent output radiator enabling it to heat up faster and respond quickly to changing heating requirements, making it more efficient and cost effective. The Ecovector actually draws air in from above and distributes heat from the floor level upwards, a first for any fan convector.
With easy to operate controls, as well as a builtin thermostat and tamper-proof cover the range includes the LL 1200 (1.2kW) and the LL 2000 (2.0kW) models along with the LL 2800 - with an output of up to 2.8kW.
