FURNITURE component supplier, HPP, has been selected to be one of the first UK stockists of Blum's innovative SERVO-DRIVE system.
The award winning SERVO-DRIVE system is an electrical drive support system which enables pullouts to open with either a light touch or pull and is perfectly matched to the TANDEMBOX pull-out system.
The basis of the system is an electrical drive that triggers the opening system. Thanks to BLUMOTION, pull-outs whether heavy or light, narrow or wide and with or without handles will open and reclose silently and effortlessly.
The electrical drive is not fitted to the runner system; instead it works by sending an electric signal from a transformer held within the unit run.
The transformer can be attached to any normal power supply which makes it easy to deactivate, which whilst ensuring energy efficiency also makes it easier to clean drawer frontals.
The system also has a failsafe whereby the drawer can still be opened in the event of a power failure
