BCG XL - One year on

One year on, BCG goes from strength to strength and to celebrate, BCG, the company formerly known as Broughton Crangrove Galley Matrix, is setting off around the UK once more on the 2008 Big Tour.

The BCG XL Big Tour will be rolling into seven major sports stadiums during September, bringing over 23 of the bathroom and kitchen industry's biggest names to a city near you. The free trade show will bring with it exciting new products, the opportunity to meet suppliers easily and informally and exclusive show offers, along with more fun aspects, like free stadium tours and the chance to win prizes such as signed sports memorabilia.

The aim for the Big Tour and for BCG in general, says BCG Marketing Manager Julie Butcher, is to build on the excellent start that BCG has made: " When the concept of BCG XL first came together, it was a way to reinvigorate and redefine Broughton Crangrove Galley Matrix and to let our customers know that we were serious about improving our total service to them.

"Of course, any brand is only as good as the service it provides and we're proud to say we are achieving all our goals for customers. One of those goals was to bring the trade show out to the customers. Trade shows are very useful and important, but not always that accessible for busy independent retailers and suppliers to get along to.

"Our first Big Tour last year was a huge success, and it taught us that our customers appreciate the opportunity to meet the manufacturers face to face and get to see the latest products on their own doorstep."

Of course, the Big Tour is another way of getting the BCG XL message across too. The company is already justifiably proud of the levels of customer satisfaction it is achieving and wants to tell customers about it.

"Having the most comprehensive one-stop-shop, or the biggest range of in-stock products, means nothing if you can't keep your promises to customers," says Julie, "the whole point of the BCG XL banner is to show that we take our relationships with customers very seriously and repay their trust in us by striving to give them the most complete, efficient service we can.

The BCG XL Big Tour will be held in Bolton's Reebok Stadium, Elland Road in Leeds, Bristol's Ashton Gate, St Mary's Stadium in Southampton, the Ricoh Stadium Coventry, Twickenham Rugby Stadium and Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
