Cristadur from Schock set to revolutionise kitchen sink market
Published:  09 May, 2008

Since the ‘composite sink' was first introduced a number of years ago, Schock GmbH has, through a range of sinks manufactured from the highest quality composite materials, become renowned as the innovative leader in this rapidly growing marketplace.

Now, the company's reputation for introducing the newest advancements, both in design and materials, has been further enhanced with the development of a range of products manufactured in Cristadur - a brand new and unique material, which is set to revolutionise the market for kitchen sinks.

Made up of a uniquely hard NanoGranite material composition, sinks made of Cristadur have been thoroughly tested by scientists at the German Aerospace Centre in Cologne DLR and is also certified by independent institutes in Japan and the US. The result is a material that can withstand with ease the rigours of the modern kitchen whilst also displaying outstanding, proven cleaning properties.

Next to the unique advantages of the NanoGranite material composition, Cristadur also possesses all the known and approved advantages of the Schock product range. The new range of sinks is presented in a high-quality ceramic look and exudes a surprising silky smoothness and pleasant warmth that has been described by the manufacturer as being ‘silky hard to the touch'.

Available in a number of designs from Schock, including Focus, Lotus and the stunning Vero N-100 flush-fitting sink, Cristadur is manufactured in seven attractive colours, from Casablanca to Nuvoletta. These new colours have been specially developed for the Cristadur product line to present the tactile and visual experience of this material to its greatest advantage.
