VitrA has partnered with Italian Architect Matteo Thun to create a collection designed to add colour and texture to the bathroom.
Water Jewels moves away from the traditional ceramics conventionally used in bathroom design and manufacture, instead employing materials as diverse as wood, marble, solid stone and glass.
The collection confronts the hot topics of colour, texture and shape in the bathroom while also exploring new mechanisms of displaying the bowls. Flexibility is the key as they are designed to fit either into, or underneath, a ceramic counter, while the basins themselves are also interchangeable, providing a simple solution when changing the appearance of a room or updating it to reflect the latest fashions.
In addition, the Water Jewels range incorporates a variety of basin covers, which are also available in a selection of colours, materials and designs, providing an innovative answer to the issue of surface space in the bathroom, whilst again contributing to the overall aesthetic appeal and design flexibility.
