KBB returns in style
Published:  11 April, 2008

KBB, Expotile and HPE 2008 took place from 2-5 March and proved yet again that it is the largest showcase of kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, tiling, heating & plumbing solutions in the UK.

This year saw the event stand alone at the NEC in their new March timeframe, allowing the event to grow into 2 additional halls and see the launch of HPE.  Both exhibitors and visitors agreed that KBB 2008 was a huge success.

Richard Walker, sales and marketing director for De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances commented,

"KBB 2008 was an excellent platform to present our latest collections to the wider kitchen industry over the four days. Not only was the amount of interest really exciting, the quality of dealers and buyers was significant. We certainly had one of the busiest stands, with a constant flow of interest; even up to the last hour of the last day. We have already begun building partnerships with both new customers and with customers that wished to renew their association with us..."

With over 400 exhibitors, this stunning show kept an incredible buzz throughout all 7 halls. Packed with exciting features, and beautiful stands, KBB has yet again proved to be THE industry's top event.

From high end R&R areas such as the Poggenpohl Champagne bar to the comfortable Ionic Stone Café, from celebrity chefs to entertaining dancers or from stimulating seminars to relaxing Take 5 areas, KBB had a wide diversity of thing to offer.

Described as one the best looking shows ever by the NEC management, the aisles were heaving with strikingly elegant stands filled with exciting innovative products, forecasts and all setting the trends for the seasons to come.

A launchpad for new design and vision, global brands used KBB to showcase their ranges to an audience of high quality retailers, developers, designers, architects, builders merchants, specifiers and contract buyers.

As the increasing trend for contemporary design and bespoke interiors comes to the forefront, the event offered both unique and exclusive collections, alongside more classic designs that will always be prevalent in this industry.

Event Director Paul Sweeney comments: "We are extremely pleased with the results of this years edition of KBB. The show looked absolutely stunning and we have had extremely good feedback relating to the quality of both products and buyers.

We are confident that the show's success will reinforce the quality standards for KBB London next year."

As a natural extension of the successful KBB Birmingham event, the launch of KBB London will bring together the leading names within this marketplace to Earls Court - in the heart of the country's capital - from the 17th to the 19th May 2009.
