Show success for Hansgrohe
Published:  11 April, 2008

Hansgrohe, the taps & showers specialist, experienced another great KBB this year with a showcase of a new designs, new technology and outstanding value for the discerning bathroom.

New for 2008, is an entirely new collection designed to appeal to traditional tastes. Talis Classic offers taps, overhead showers, hand showers and matching Logis accessories with a traditional feel and pure design language, to create co-ordinated bathrooms that offer functionality, wellbeing and which also reflects individual personality. This latest range, part of the World of Styles portfolio, evokes values such as tradition, memories of the good old days and of objects and design trends from childhood conveying a feeling of warmth and security - a design trend that is finding more and more fans in today's fast-paced and changing world.

The World of Styles portfolio continues to expand with new exposed thermostatic bath and shower mixers: Ecostat E and S are designed to match the corresponding style of shower head and mixer taps to ensure a perfectly co-ordinated design scheme in the bathroom.  The Ecostat S has also been incorporated into a new showerpipe model: the Croma 100 Showerpipe. This straight-lined and highly practical shower is already a recipient of the 2008 coveted iF Design Award and holds equal appeal for both sexes thanks to the winning combination of fixed overhead shower and versatile hand shower in the one unit.

With eco-friendly topics rarely leaving the headlines these days, Hansgrohe has added to its already impressive array of water-saving showers. KBB saw the launch of a new entry-priced range of hand showers, Crometta 85, including the Crometta 85 Green with Ecosmart technology. Thanks to a mixture of technology embedded in the handle and air-injection, this clever hand shower delivers just 6 litres of water per minute.

Further highlights among the new launches were a rectangular version of the award-winning circular Raindance Rainmaker AIR and a new sliding wall bar called Raindance Unica'S. Never a company to rest on its laurels, Hansgrohe invented the first sliding wall bar in 1953 and with this latest model offers unsurpassed adjustability. An integrated, freely movable joint allows the user to alter the direction of the shower spray and adjust it precisely to personal preferences. Made entirely of metal, the holder is exceptionally solid and robust.

Visitors to the stand also caught a glimpse of innovations to come from Hansgrohe. With the advent of iControl, due for launch in September 2008, Hansgrohe will be offering the option of hi-tech and extremely stylish digital showering. Watch this space.
