Ideal Standard has two main ranges which specifically address the issue of space saving in the bathroom. The Space collection (pictured right) by Robin Levien - which was the first range ever launched to deal specifically with the issue of limited space - provides a range of solutions for consumers wishing to make the best of a small room.
The Space Corner range, which includes right-angled wc cisterns and corner basins, allows the normally dead space in awkward corners to be put to good use, whilst the 150cm offset corner shower bath provides a roomy showering area in a bath that can fit into the smallest of spaces. The Space toilet seat can be fitted angled 45 degrees to the left or the right - so that the wc can be placed close to a wall without causing to much of a squeeze. And the short projection microbasin only protrudes 20cm, making it ideal for a cloakroom or tiny ensuite.
Initially a European range, Small+ by Franco Bertoli is one of our latest space-conscious collections launched in the UK and with its intelligent, thoughtful design and stylish, original lines it is the perfect solution for those who want to make a small bathroom spacious without compromising on looks. The Small+ basins have a projection of just 425mm, compared to the average projection which is between 450-470mm. The wc bowls take up just 615mm of space in the room, compared to an average of 655mm, whilst the wall hung corner basin unit and corner mirror cabinet (pictured below) make Small+ a highly distinctive way to save space in the bathroom.
