Retailers in the South no longer need make a trip up to Blackpool for Britannia's popular training course, as the range cooker specialists have teamed up with the exclusive Meluki Cookery School to offer a series of sessions in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.
Run by Britannia's home economist Debbie Hale and aided by one of Meluki's chefs, the half day courses take place in the cookery school's kitchen, which is fitted with a 90cm professional hotplate, a 100cm Sigma range cooker with Chef Top and a K7088 hood with ASC.
The four hour sessions have been designed to help retailers learn more about Britannia's portfolio and better understand unique features such as the Chef Top, rotisserie and multifunctional cooking. To help get maximum benefit, the informal sessions are restricted to just 6-8 delegates and focus on practical demonstrations, which give retailers a real taste of the Britannia experience as they help create some delicious dishes including Mediterranean chicken, salmon with hollandaise sauce and nectarine tarte tatin.
