The new Active Island hood shares the same powerful extraction capabilities contained within all Franke hoods and will remove virtually all steam and strong cooking odours from the kitchen. This four plus intensive speed hood offers a wealth of high-end features, including an intensive setting, for short powerful bursts to remove unpleasant odours as quickly as possible and a continous 24-hour ventilation function, which provides a constant flow of clean air running through the room at various intervals. For the ultimate in technological luxury, it even offers the option of remote controlled operation. As with all Franke hoods the Active can use precision-made charcoal filters to catch and trap unwanted odours in recirculatory mode. Furthermore, the hood is remarkably quiet, which is why the automatic cut-off timer is extremely useful for those who wish to leave the extractor running for a short while to remove any lingering smells.
