To help develop sales of its mid-market ranges, German shower enclosure manufacturer Hüppe UK has appointed Ideal Bathrooms of Milton Keynes as a national distributor of its Joop 1002 and 501 Design series from 1 January 2008.
In its first year of trading as Hüppe UK (following the take-over of its former sales agent), the company has consolidated its traditional UK position as a top end manufacturer and, in its second year, wants to develop its mid-market presence in the UK to reflect the company's reputation and strength in this sector in Europe.
"Ideal are part of the St Gobain group, an important Hüppe customer in Europe, and presented us with the ideal development opportunity to maximise both the sales potential of the Joop 1002 and 501 Design ranges and change our profile to an all-sector presence in the UK shower market" explains Rod Goodier, Managing Director of Hüppe UK. "With warehouses in Kingston-upon-Thames, Milton Keynes and Wakefield they are well placed to provide 24-48 hour delivery of these two ranges, a major target in our plans, to retailers throughout the UK."
A new brochure specific to the Joop 1002 and 501 Design ranges, new POS material and a specialist training course on the two ranges will be launched in January 2008.
